How does the technician work on the back?
The method comes from the founder, Lương Y Tống Văn Huynh. Before any pressure, the technician looks at your posture: whether the hips sit level and how the spine curves when you stand and lie down. Then, with you face down, they run their fingers down both sides of the spine to find the bands of muscle that feel hard or ropey. Work concentrates there: thumb pressure on acupoints beside the spine, kneading over the waist and the top of the hips, and broad palm strokes to spread warmth. A warm herbal compress and foot soak finish the session. You will be asked about pressure more than once.
Should I add cupping?
Cupping is optional and costs 85,000 VND (about 3 USD) for 30 minutes. Cups placed on the back create suction and may leave round marks that fade over several days. Skip it before a beach trip or an event where your back will show, and tell staff if your skin bruises easily.
