If you have just landed and want a jet lag massage in Saigon, Tong Gia has two branches open every day: 225 Duong Thi Muoi Street, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12 (8:00 to 19:00) and Unit T16-21, The Manhattan, Vinhomes Grand Park, Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City (9:00 to 20:00). A traditional Vietnamese massage costs 450,000 VND (about $17) for 60 minutes or 550,000 VND (about $21) for 90 minutes, the same at both addresses.

Below are the questions travellers type between the baggage belt and the hotel lobby. For the longer story behind these sessions, read our jet lag massage page.

Which branch should I pick after landing?

Pick by where you will sleep, not by the airport:

  • District 12 branch: 225 Duong Thi Muoi Street, near Tan Chanh Hiep market. It is the handier stop if you are staying around Go Vap, Hoc Mon or Tan Binh, the district that also holds Tan Son Nhat airport. Google rating 4.9★ from 234 reviews (open in Google Maps).
  • Vinhomes Grand Park branch: Unit T16-21, inside The Manhattan area of Vinhomes Grand Park, Thu Duc City (formerly District 9). Suits visitors staying around Long Binh, Long Thanh My and Thu Duc. Google rating 5.0★ from 183 reviews (open in Google Maps).

How late can I still get a session on arrival day?

Both branches open seven days a week. Work backwards from closing time: a 90-minute session should begin by about 17:30 in District 12 or 18:30 at Vinhomes Grand Park, and a 60-minute one by about 18:00 or 19:00. For red-eye arrivals, District 12 opens at 8:00, before most hotel check-ins.

How much will it cost?

Retail prices, identical at both branches (USD is an approximate conversion):

Session VND About USD
Traditional Vietnamese massage, 60 min 450,000 17
Traditional Vietnamese massage, 90 min 550,000 21
Neck & shoulder or lower-back session, 60 min 550,000 21
Head care session, 60 min 750,000 29
Full body session, 120 min 950,000 37
Herbal steam 120,000 5

The complete list sits on the prices page. You pay in cash or by bank transfer.

Which session matches my kind of flight?

Think about where the flight left its mark:

  • Slept sitting up, head against the window: the neck and upper shoulders usually feel it first. A 60-minute neck & shoulder session keeps the time on that area.
  • Long haul with a stopover: the lower back and legs have been still for a day. The 90-minute traditional massage has room for back, hips and calves.
  • Foggy head, eyes that will not settle: the head care session spends its hour on the scalp, temples and neck.
  • Arrived with a free afternoon and nothing planned: the 120-minute full body session goes slowly from head to feet.

What actually happens on the table?

The practitioner first looks at you: your complexion, how your shoulders sit, how you hold your spine. This is the observation habit of our founder, Lương Y Tống Văn Huynh, a traditional Vietnamese wellness master with more than 13 years in the field. Next, fingers trace both sides of your spine to locate knots, and only then does acupressure and kneading begin on those spots. The photo above shows the neck muscles being squeezed and released in a slow rhythm. A warm herbal compress and a foot soak close the session. You will be asked about pressure throughout.

Should I eat, shower or nap first?

Have a light snack rather than a heavy meal, since lying face down on a full stomach is uncomfortable. A quick shower at the hotel feels good but is not required. Try not to nap beforehand; a session late in the afternoon, followed by dinner and an early local bedtime, is a gentler way to line up with Saigon time. If you feel dizzy, feverish or unwell after the trip, rest and see a licensed physician before booking any massage.

How do I reserve from the airport?

Message WhatsApp or Zalo on +84 888 264 559 with three things: branch, rough arrival time and the session you want. Our team mostly speaks Vietnamese and answers English messages with a translation tool, so short sentences work well. Show the written address to your ride-hailing driver.

FAQ

Is a jet lag massage different from a normal massage? It is the same traditional Vietnamese session; what changes is where the practitioner spends time, usually the neck, lower back and legs that stiffened during the flight. Tell them how long you flew and how you slept.

Can I book before I leave home? Yes. Send a WhatsApp or Zalo message to +84 888 264 559 a day or two ahead with your landing date, and staff will confirm a time by reply.

Which branch stays open latest? Vinhomes Grand Park in Thu Duc City closes at 20:00; District 12 closes at 19:00. Both open every day of the week.

Can I add herbal steam to my massage? Yes, herbal steam is 120,000 VND (about $5) and can be added to any session. Mention it when you book so the timing fits before closing.
