Tong Gia team · Lương Y Tống Văn Huynh · 2026-10-26

To book a massage for parents in Vietnam, send a WhatsApp or Zalo message to +84 888 264 559 and choose one of Tong Gia’s two branches in Ho Chi Minh City: 225 Duong Thi Muoi Street, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12 (8:00 to 19:00 daily) or Unit T16-21, The Manhattan, Vinhomes Grand Park, Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City (9:00 to 20:00 daily). A 90-minute traditional Vietnamese massage is 550,000 VND (about $21) and a 60-minute one is 450,000 VND (about $17), the same at both branches.
Many people who live overseas want to do something practical for a mother or father back home, and a massage close to where they live is an easy place to start. This Q&A walks through the booking from abroad, what to tell staff and which session suits an older parent. More background is on our overseas Vietnamese page.
How does booking from abroad actually work?
- Message +84 888 264 559 on WhatsApp or Zalo, in English or Vietnamese.
- Give your parent’s name and phone number, the branch closest to them and a day and time that suits them.
- Staff call your parent in Vietnamese to confirm the appointment, so they know when and where to go.
- Your parent comes in for the session. The price is confirmed before it begins.
Allow a day or two for confirmation, especially around Tet.
Which branch is closer to my parents?
- District 12 is near Tan Chanh Hiep market, an easy trip from Go Vap, Hoc Mon and Tan Binh. Google rating 4.9★ from 234 reviews (Google Maps).
- Vinhomes Grand Park is inside The Manhattan area in Thu Duc City (formerly District 9), close to Long Binh and Long Thanh My. Google rating 5.0★ from 183 reviews (Google Maps).
If your parents get around by motorbike taxi or with a neighbour, send them the Google Maps link so the driver can find the door.

Which session suits an older parent?
For a first visit, the 90-minute traditional Vietnamese massage is a comfortable length: enough time to work slowly through the back, shoulders, arms and legs without rushing. The photo above shows a practitioner kneading along a guest’s arm, the kind of unhurried work that many older guests enjoy. If your parent tires easily or has never had a massage, start with the 45-minute herbal head spa or the 60-minute head spa with neck and shoulder massage.
How gentle can the pressure be?
As gentle as your parent likes. Every session begins with the practitioner observing complexion, posture and how the shoulders and spine sit, a method our founder, Lương Y Tống Văn Huynh, a traditional Vietnamese wellness master with more than 13 years in the field, uses in every session. The practitioner then checks along the spine for tight spots before any acupressure. Pressure is asked about throughout, so your parent can simply say “nhẹ thôi” (lighter) at any moment.
What should I tell staff about my parent’s health?
Mention age, any recent surgery, high blood pressure, heart conditions, recent falls or joint replacements, and anything else your parent mentions to you. A massage is a wellness session, not a health check. If your parent has a long-term condition or you are unsure whether massage is suitable, please have them see a licensed physician first.
Can someone go with them?
Yes. A family member or friend can come along and wait, or book a session at the same time. Mention it in your message so staff can check that two practitioners are free.
FAQ
Can I book for both parents at the same time? Yes. Write both names and the time you want in one WhatsApp or Zalo message to +84 888 264 559, and staff will check that two practitioners are free for that slot.
Do my parents need to speak English? No. Staff mainly speak Vietnamese, which makes it easy for parents. You can write to us in English; messages are answered with a translation tool.
Which branch opens earliest? District 12 opens at 8:00 every day and closes at 19:00. Vinhomes Grand Park is open from 9:00 to 20:00.
Is the price the same at both branches? Yes. Retail prices are identical, for example 450,000 VND (about $17) for a 60-minute traditional Vietnamese massage.
This is a wellness service, not medical care.
