For a massage after running in Thu Duc, head to Tong Gia at Unit T16-21, The Manhattan, Vinhomes Grand Park, Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City, open 9:00 to 20:00 every day. A 60-minute lower-back or neck & shoulder session is 550,000 VND (about $21), and a 30-minute add-on for calves and thighs is 199,000 VND (about $8).

Runners ask practical questions, so this page keeps to them: when to come, what to pay, what to choose after which kind of run. The broader picture, including racket sports, is on our sports recovery massage page.

Where exactly is the branch, and how far from my route?

The branch sits inside The Manhattan area of Vinhomes Grand Park, so if your loop already runs through the park you can finish at the door. Runners coming from Long Binh, Long Thanh My or elsewhere in Thu Duc City can drop the pin from Google Maps, where the branch holds 5.0★ from 183 reviews.

If you train on the other side of Saigon, around Go Vap, Hoc Mon or Tan Binh, our District 12 branch at 225 Duong Thi Muoi Street, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward offers the same menu from 8:00 to 19:00 daily, rated 4.9★ from 234 reviews on Google Maps.

I run at dawn. When can I come in?

Most Saigon runners are out early to beat the heat, and the Thu Duc branch opens at 9:00. That leaves time to cool down, eat breakfast and shower before your session. Evening runners have until 20:00: start a 60-minute session by about 19:00, or a 90-minute one by about 18:30. Weekends follow the same hours.

Which session fits which run?

  • Easy 5 km before work: you probably do not need much. A 60-minute traditional Vietnamese massage is a relaxed way to start the weekend instead.
  • Tempo or interval day: calves and the front of the thighs take most of the load. Book the lower-back session and add 30 minutes for the legs.
  • Long Sunday run: the lower back tires as form slips in the final kilometres. The 90-minute lower-back session leaves time for hips and hamstrings too.
  • Arms and shoulders tight from holding a phone or bottle: a neck & shoulder session, as in the photo above, where the technician strokes down the back and works the shoulder.

What happens during the hour?

The session opens with a look at how you stand: whether one hip drops, whether your shoulders round forward. This observation step comes from our founder, Lương Y Tống Văn Huynh, a traditional Vietnamese wellness master. The practitioner then traces the spine to find stiff spots before pressing acupoints and kneading the area you booked. The pressure is firm but never fixed; you will be asked how it feels as the session goes on. A warm herbal compress and a foot soak finish it, which tired feet usually welcome.

Is there any time I should skip the massage?

Yes. If you have a sharp pain, swelling, a pulled muscle that hurts when you walk, or a fall on the run, do not book a massage first. See a licensed physician and come back once you are cleared. Mild, all-over tightness is what these sessions are meant for.

What should I bring and how do I book?

Bring a dry shirt and loose shorts or trousers; a quick shower after the run is appreciated. Drink water before and after. To book, message WhatsApp or Zalo +84 888 264 559 with the session, the branch and the time you expect to finish running. Staff mostly speak Vietnamese and answer English messages through translation tools, so keep it short.

FAQ

How soon after a run can I have a massage? A comfortable gap is an hour or two, enough to cool down, eat and shower. There is no fixed rule; simply avoid booking while you are still sweating and out of breath.

Can I get only my legs massaged? The 30-minute area add-on at 199,000 VND (about $8) is designed to sit alongside a main session. Ask when booking if you want to focus on the legs, and staff will suggest how to arrange it.

Is the Vinhomes Grand Park branch open on race weekends? Yes. It opens 9:00 to 20:00 every day, weekends included. Message ahead on race weekends so a slot is held for you.

How do I pay? The price is confirmed before the session starts, and you pay at the branch by cash or bank transfer.
